Steve’s Leaves Website Wins Prestigious Award
Vitacress has won the Consumer Site of the Year Award at the prestigious Wirehive 100 Awards for its Steve’s Leaves website.
The website for the baby leaf salad brand was relaunched in April following a complete redesign, which saw the introduction of a contemporary new look and feel, enhanced usability and a wide range of user-friendly content including recipes and salad tips.
The Steve’s Leaves team collected the award at a special ceremony held at the O2 Guildhall in Southampton last week. Celebrating digital excellence, the Wirehive 100 Awards recognise the outstanding work from agencies in the southern counties based outside of London.
Chris Hall, managing director of Vitacress’ salads business, said: “We are delighted to win the Consumer Site of the Year award for our Steve’s Leaves website. It is a testament to the creativity and dedication of the Steve’s Leaves brand team and the collaborative efforts with our partners. Steve’s Leaves is one of the few successful salad brands in the UK today and it is important to have an engaging and aspirational website for consumers to visit to find out about the brand – and to be recognised as the best consumer site by industry experts is great news and a ringing endorsement for our decision to redevelop the website earlier this year.”
Alex Atkinson from February, Vitacress’ digital agency, which designed the website, said: “As an agency we're pleased the Steve's Leaves brand management team trusted us to make such a radical step change with their online presence. To move from a more functional site to a site that not only delivers the mandatories, but one that is an experience that brings this flavoursome and playful brand to life online, was a brave call. We feel a large portion of that trust has been repaid through winning this award.”
Steve’s Leaves prides itself on its unique and delicious baby leaf salads, which are washed in spring water, produced to high environmental standards and available in handy, convenient small bags to reduce waste. Steve’s Leaves is available to enjoy from Waitrose, Ocado and independent foodie outlets like Wholefoods and Amazon Fresh.
