ORGANIC FARMING

Vitacress began producing organically grown crops in 2000, having begun the conversion of land to organic production 2 years prior to this. Since then, Vitacress has significantly expanded its organic farming operations, which now extend to 12 sites across 3 continents around the world.

The challenges of Organic Baby Leaf Farming have been immense when compared to conventionally produced crops, particularly with regard to providing the consistency of supply to the standards demanded by our customers.

To rise to the challenge, Vitacress has developed world-leading standards of production. These standards cover every detail including site selection, seed sources, compost use, water quality and equipment hygiene.
