Vitacress shortlisted for UK Fruit and Vegetable Awards

Vitacress are delighted that a number of its staff and campaigns have been nominated for the 2016 UK Fruit and Vegetable Awards.

Vitacress staff are nominated in the Unsung Hero (Carrie Hutchings) and Young Person of the Year (Chris Page). Meanwhile our recent £4.5m investment in a new herb facility at Runcton sees Vitacress nominated in the Initiative in Growing or R&D category too.

Finally both our Herbilicious and Wild For Watercress campaigns are also nominated in the Marketing or Digital Initiative category.

It is pleasing that our business, our staff and the work we do to promote fresh produce to consumers are being recognised in this way. The awards are voted for by FPJ subscribers so if you are a subscriber we hope you will show us your support.

The voting period is open until midnight on Wednesday 14 December, and the winners will be announced in FPJ in print and online in January.
